Guided Fly Fishing Trips

Rising Tide Anglers offers guided fly fishing and light tackle trips from Portsmouth, NH and Eliot, ME on an 18 foot Action Craft Flats Skiff. We have a passion for sharing our water with new and experienced anglers alike. The Piscataqua River offers diverse fishing opportunities from May through the end of September.
TARGET SPECIES

We target Striped Bass all summer, with occasional opportunities for Bluefish.

METHODS

Rising Tide Anglers offers a variety of fishing methods. Our specialty is technical sight fishing in shallow water for Striped Bass. Chasing blitzing fish early in the morning can be very productive, or try blind casting flies along the rocky shoreline outside the river with sinking lines for cruising fish. We also offer light tackle gear upon request.

BEST TIMES TO FISH

Stripers typically arrive early to mid May, and the most consistent fishing is June and July. Our fishery can be strong into the end of Septemer depending on the season.
